🍂Costumes encouraged - the Faye are particularly active this time of year and love to use their magic on humans… a disguise can grant you protection for the night and may even give you some good luck - we are not liable for the tricks they may play on you should you not dress the part 😜

🍂POTLUCK - propane griddle, grill, and burners available for use and/or heating food items

🍂BYO-everything - Some seating, beverage, and food will be provided - but we encourage you to bring warm clothes, maybe a blanket, get cozy and comfy with us and enjoy the magical atmosphere we are planning for you!

🍂FIRE🔥

🍂NATURE CRAFTS - floral crown crafting 💛

🍂NIGHT SKY VIEWING - 🔭 if the skies permit it, we will have a telescope pointed to the moon.

Please note this is a LIGHT rain or shine event. We will cancel in case of severe weather conditions and postpone to the following day Sunday OCTOBER 18.

ACCESSIBILITY: the main parking areas are a 1-3 min walk down our dirt farm roads to the event space. Pathways are not paved but are fairly level ground. If desired we are more than happy to accommodate anyone with mobility needs by offering a handful of parking and/or drop off points right next to the event area. Connect with us to help make sure your needs are met!

Suggested Donation Sliding Scale

Recommended Adult: $20 - $35

Restorative Adult: $36 - $50

Reduced Adult: $10 - $19

Child: $5-$15

Workshops, events, and artists are funded through Suggested Sliding Scale Contributions.

It is NOT required for you to make a donation to attend workshops or events.

“Restorative” donations make it possible for us to share these experiences at reduced or no charge for others. Thank you!

If you are unsure where you fall on the scale please see our sliding scale guidelines HERE

We will accept cash donations or Venmo on the day of workshops or events as well.

Hawk and Handsaw Farm aims to offer workshops and events to all members of our community. Accessibility to community building, traditional craft, and food ways is important to us.

Thank you for your support!

Our Sliding Scale Options:

We offer three payment options: Recommended, Reduced and Restorative. Our Recommended option reflects what it takes to cover costs. The Reduced option is for community members who would not be able to attend events without an affordable option, while the Restorative option covers costs and supports greater event access.

Finding yourself on the sliding scale…

Consider paying lower on the scale if you:

  • Have significant debt, medical expenses, or educational expenses

  • Are supporting children or other dependents

  • Have immigration-related expenses

  • Have low or inconsistent income

Consider paying higher on the scale if you:

  • Own your home, have investments, retirement accounts, or inherited money

  • Travel recreationally, work part-time by choice, or have access to family money and resources

  • Have a relatively high degree of earning power due to your level of education, gender or racial privilege, and/or class background, even if you are not currently exercising your earning power

Sliding Scale Guidelines are taken directly from Nofa MASSS ; they were inspired by, and borrowed from Woven Roots Farm, Tyringham, MA and Rock Steady Farm, Millerton, NY.
